A press conference was held for the family of Christopher Cooper’s on May 5, 2017 at Del Taco in Lancaster CA.
Cooper is in a coma after being beaten by someone wielding a baseball bat. The family is pleading for the public’s help to find the brutal attack on their love one.
The family and friends hand in hand holding one another for support. The press conference for Christopher Cooper gathered at Del Taco on May 5, 2017 Friday Morning when they received an update from the hospital. Christopher was undergoing surgery because of complications from the breathing.
Ansar Muhammad, of the Community Action League said, “He’s has to go into surgery.” Community Action League (CAL) is a community organization that helps low income communities in the Antelope Valley act to fight for their civil rights. Muhammad said, “”So, before we even start, I would like to offer up a prayer.”
Prayer was led by local Pastor Dwayne Jones of Living Water Worship Center.
Relatives say he suffered a brain hemorrhage last Friday afternoon when someone attacked him with a baseball bat. It’s not likely to be the last surgery for the 31-year-old Cooper. They say he’s in a coma fighting for his life.
