While Doing some last-minute Christmas Eve shopping inside a Hayward Target store, Tyrone Griffin asked two men to turn their music down because he though it was offensive to his 4-year-old son. The three got into an argument-and it quickly turned physical. One of the men stabbed him to death as victim’s son watched. Now, his family is struggling to make sense of their lost.

Palmdale Sheriff are naming this burglary as the Grinch that stole Christmas. The burglar occurred on December 23, 2016 around 5:18 P.M. in the 1200 block of East Avenue S.
The thief is between the age of 20-30 years of age. He entered the home and once inside he pulled a backpack out and took the gifts that were under the Christmas tree.
He’s described as being approximately 6’5″ in height and about 250 lbs. He was wearing a black and white stripe shirt, a red and black flannel jacket. light colored sweat pants, red and black cap with a head phones around his neck.

Israel Macedo: A 26 year old resident of Palmdale was in a fatal crash. The crash occurred on December 26, 2016 on avenue S and Sierra Hwy.
He was taken to the Antelope Valley Hospital where he died from his injuries. He lost control of his 1994 Camry and struck a pole.
